Nicholas Ray has been creating jewelry professionally for over 15 years.

Born and raised on Nantucket Island, he had his first introduction to goldsmithing in a high school art class. He began his career at the age of 18 polishing and soldering castings for local jewelry designer, Diana Kim England. After graduating from the Revere Academy Of The Jewelry Arts in San Francisco in 2002, he returned to work in their Main Street studio gallery on Nantucket Island where he went on to become England's head-goldsmith.

Today, Nick fabricates original and custom designs from his Nantucket Island studio incorporating traditional methods and specialized techniques including filigree, granulation and anticlastic raising. Nick enjoys working with his clients to create meaningful designs that suit their personal aesthetic.

Nick lives on his island home, with his wife and their three children.
